So last night I had a bible study at my church in preparation for our youth gathering event we're going on in July. We talked about Christian Vocation. Which is you as a Christian helping out in the world, etc. Which I guess has to do with being called to go do God's work. When my pastor asked if we felt "called" to go down to New Orleans and help, about half the people raised their hands. Not me. I almost felt like it was a bad thing, not being "called" to New Orleans. To tell you the truth, I have never felt "called," or have felt a deep connection to God. Is this a bad thing? I hope not. Sometimes I wish have have felt something "supernatural." Maybe it just isn't my time yet. Hmmm.

So I went to Tigers Roar last night. Tigers Roar is ALHS' talent Show they have every year. I liked it, though I definitely understand why some wouldn't. Most of the show was singing/ music. Which could get tiring. While I was watching the skits, and the actual shows I thought of the Old People. Old people are fine, but they come from a completely different generation. Obviously. Sometimes when I'm at the show I look at the OP (Old People) and think. All these skits, etc seem fine to me, and most likely to the rest of my peer group. There is some rapping at the place, and some dudes in leotards and hot pink stripper boots. I'm not ranting, not at all. but I do wonder what the OP do think about some of these very interesting skits

So I saw Watchmen on Friday. It was really amazing. I loved it. This movie is about "Superheros." But it is really unconventional. Only one of them is actually a superhero, and that happened in a scientific accident. This movie was original a Graphic Novel Mini-series in the 80s. The heroes in this movie have problems, they aren't perfect, in actuality, they are far from it. Because of Watchmen, other comic book and graphic novel heroes have faults and imperfections. Even the god-like figure of Dr. Manhattan, who you colud almost, but not really, compare to Superman, is not perfect. This makes the story of Watchmen very relatable in a weird way. I'm so glad i got to see this movie.

I'm sure many of you have seen the movie "The Dark Knight." It is an amazing, butt-kicking movie. But what really brings it to full AWESOMENESS is the score! This score gives more chill than a horror movie, it's so butt-kicking. To fully appreciate the movie's score though, you must have the 2 disc collector's edition. the best songs are on the whole thing are "Why So Serious?," which is the Joker's Theme, and "A Watchful Guardian." The latter of which is the FINAL song in the movie, which for me creates the most chillsy moments. If you like the movie, you probably like the score, which means you should go out and get it. In any means necessary.

Preparing the Future Generations to be useless networking teenage freaks. That is my title. Also, that is waht websites like webkinz, and Club Penguin are doing to the 8-12 year old age group right now. I happen to know this because my sister goes on both. It seems like these websites get addicting, just like Facebook, and myspace do for us. Except, with webkinz, you need to buy the stuffed animals to play on the website, and on Club Penguin, you need to pay monthly fees to get all the features. Is ths a sign? Is this saying that in the future, networking sites will cost $$$$$? I hope not.

Okay, this is to all my maybe friends that are perhaps reading this blog. If the world ends in zombies, we must stick together and kick the zombies' arses. I will not allow this world become a ravished hell of cannibalism. We will STAND UP to these monstrous creatures and live happily ever after. Hopefully. My hope is that if I, Natasha, become zombified, my fellow bloggers on here will take it upon themselves to kill me. it is the least one could do. I would do the same for you. According to listverse.com these are our Zombie Survival Tips:
1. Pull your [censored] together!
2. Get armed
3. Get armored
4. Leave town
5. Gather supplies
6. Barricade
7. Search for survivors
Very good advice listverse.com. Thank You.

In my school I have been in Choir since 7th grade. Before then any sort of music class was just part of everything. I have really enjoyed it. This year I had try-outs to get into Concert Choir, which is our highest choir in the high school. My teacher said there wasn't many spot's left this year, because there wasn't many seniors in the choir THIS year. So, of course, I was pretty much freaking out last night, wanting today to come. Just so i could see if I made choir. I didn't. I guess you could say I'm pretty upset. I LOVE choir. I really do. Singing is just so much fun. Since I didn't make Concert Choir, I could still be in Varsity Choir, which I'm in right now. i don't want to, though. I know people might say, if you like choir so much, why wouldn't you want to at least be in Varsity Choir? BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE IT. ehh. It is an all girl's choir. Even if we all sound good, it doesn't really sound good. The one thing i REALLY miss is guy's voice's. I'm also in Show Choir, which I've been in since 8th grade. But, since I'm not going to be in choir next, I won't be able to be in Show Choir. I am really bummed, but there isn't much I can do about it.

It's not that great. Also, I think it's kind of scary. how in the next year or so, I'll be filling out college applications, and sturrffff like that.

Today is Super Bowl Sunday. I like this day, but not because of football, but everything else. Stuff like the food, movie previews and commercials... ;). I'm not really into football, and I don't completely know the rules. Anyways, I don't like rooting for teams that I have no tie to. I like going to my high school football games, because I know the guys and it's MY school, not some random team form across the US. I really eating food, ha, well duh who doesn't. My mom is a suuper good cook, so I love eating food.

I have started my new classes now. Some I think will be really fantastic. Others not soo. But it's all good. This semester I'm taking Health, which might be pretty good. That sounds weird, I know, but the teacher is AMAZING and I have some awesome people in there, so I will be having great times in there. There is also some stupid people, so who knows? I think this rest of the year will go pretty good.

I am currently exhausted. Today is the first day I've been back here in school since the 18th of December. During my break, I would go to bed at 1 or 2 in the morning, and not get up until around 11. Now today, I had to get up at 6 am, and i went to bed at 10:30. This is a big change for me. Also, now I actually have to think during the day. ha. I'm not really complaining, though. More like just wishing I could be sleeping right now. I'll just have to get through the day and try to be more happy during 2009.
