COOL WEBSITE ALERT!

There is this really cool website that I have been checking out lately. It is called stumbleupon.com. This website is soooo cool! It is really fun if you are bored and have nothing to do. All you do is press the STUMBLE! button and let the fun begin. It has anything and everything on there and links you to hundreds and hundreds of quotes, photos, videos, blogs, etc. You can find so many odd facts and interesting tidbits mtp the most random stuff. For example, I wouldn't be able to do this: ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡ɯoɔ˙uodnǝlqɯnʇs ǝʌol ı    without stumble upon. Many things I find on this website are pointless, BUT I DON'T CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesomeness in the most Odd places

It's really amazing how you can find cool, or different stuff in unexpected places. Like watching a made-for-TV movie actually being GOOD. I've watched quite a few of those in my short lifetime, especially ON the channel LIFETIME. Those are just super cheesy, unbelievable, and not very good acting. Also, if there is special effects, they are really cheesy and unrealistic, and that is no good. Unbelievable is good if the movie is supernatural, but if it is a normal movie, it needs to be realistic. One good made-for-TV movie is The Librarian series on TNT. It's kind of like the National Treasure movies, but with more supernatural stuff in it. Like many made-for-TV movies, they are a little cheesy, but not in a bad way. Considering it is made-for-TV, everything, even the special effects are pretty good. I always like it when I can find a good thing in an unexpected place.

Headphones

I swear I go through headphones like some people go through shoes. I have had like a million pairs of head headphones since 6th grade! My most recent pair died out yesterday, which i had for a while i guess. And these one were like $40! I'm guessing I'm probably a little rough on, and I do listen to my zune like every day, so i guess it is my fault mostly. Since I currently have like no $$$$ i had to buy some cheapo $5 headphones. They aren't too bad so far, and I hope they can last me until Christmas, when I have $$$$ to buy some new nice ones. The only thing I am currently really missing is the sound-reducing headphones I used to have, so I hear everything now.

Weekends

I love the weekends, they are so nice. It's great having a break from a that learning they call school. Sometimes you really just have to get away. By the end of the week, I'm so tired I just want to sit around and do nothing, but usually I have something to go out and do. Which isn't that bad most of the time. I know teachers like their jobs, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't do what they do. I wouldn't be able to stand some of the kids in my school that these teachers have to deal with all day every day! I really couldn't do it. So I bet even my teachers enjoy the weekends, too.

Uninspired

I am currently writing this blog on no inspiration. Obviously I NEED to write on this blog for school, but I'm have writer's block. I just don't know what to write. AHHHHH! Also I've felt tired and drained lately. I just want to always lay around and really do pretty much nothing. I just need a few days of school I think. Some day's school goes on forever, but other days it seems to get done in two minutes. All I really want right now is no school. That would be pretty nice.

Emotion and Movies

It's amazing how many emotions movies can make you feel. And if the movie is really good, you feel like you are experiencing emotions right along with the character. You can feel happy, sad, angry, excited, in love, and I could go on and on and on and on when it comes to the emotions you'll feel. Movies can make me laugh to death, or even cry until I am all dryed out. I have deeply hated or deeply loved characters. Which I do have to attribute to the actors and actresses of these characters.

Interviewing for J10

6:31 AM Edit This 0 Comments »
I'm not that great of a people person. Some people would deny this because I can be really loud when I am around my friends. But as soon as I am in front of a stranger, like someone my mom or my grandma knows, and I don't say a thing and I'm quiet. This also happens around strangers, and people I don't know, unless I'm also with my friends. That is sort of why these interview assignments in my J10. class has been a little difficult. I feel really awkward talking to people I don't know, or don't know well. I am definitely trying to do my best for this assignment and I really hope I can do good on this.

High School Hallway PDA

9:33 AM Edit This 1 Comment »
Seriously People! High School hallways are not made for everyone to be all kissy kissy! Everyone doesn't need to see your fricken slobbery kisses and crap! I am sick and tired of pushing my way to and from my locker through the crowds of PDAer's. Also, even more annoying are the people just standing there, in the middle of nowhere RIGHT where you're trying to get through. People these days can be soo inconsiderate. Is it really that hard to just stay out of the way, Period?

School Stuff...

9:59 AM Edit This 0 Comments »
Most days, school is so-so. I really like some of my classes, but I also dread others of mine. My favorite favorite favorite class of the day is Digital Photography. I like it because get to use Adobe Photoshop, which I LOOOOOVE. It's really fun to mess aroung and manipulate pictures. We haven't taken too many of our own photos yet, but that's alright. This class could be really useful to me, if I go into Photography stuff, or Designing stuff, but I haven't though much about that.

And yet, I have a class on the opposite of the spectrum. Biology Class. I dread this class. It is the most boring, pointless class. EVER. All we do is take our book out, read it, take notes on what we read, answer pointless questions. It goes on and on and on. Everday same boring thing. Seriously, I've even fallen asleep in this class. Hmmmm... What to do? What to do? I guess I'll just have live through it.

Sometimes You Just Need to Vent!!

Some people just need to be considerate of others feelings. It's fine to display and tell your opinion, but please be understanding of another person's opinion! Okay? Earlier one of my good friends was sending me these texts. I didn't think anything of the first one, but i got, about 10 or so in a row. And all of them were saying "You Baby Killer" and "Abortion is bad." My opinion on the whole Abortion matter is that a women, girl, lady, whoever shoulder have the choice. I'm not necessarily pro-abortion, or anti-abortion, I just think that we should be allowed to have some control over our own bodies Seriously, now who would like it if they had the freedom of speech, but didn't have the freedom to do something with their own body! Also, sometimes I'm rather torn on this matter, because I just don't like any trouble, so I don't say anything. But these comments this person hurt me, and I might not think a single thing about in 24 hours, but I need to get this out of my chest right now. Maybe if this person was just any random person in the hall I wouldn't think anything of it, but this person is one of my best friends!!!!!!!!! I don't want to really yell at her also, because I don't like having conflicts. I've even asked her to stop, but she won't. This is really hurting me right now, and making me feel like a horrible, evil person, when all I'm doing is displaying an opinion. She has said that she hasn't kept sending them. So I'm hoping her phone was just continuing to send them, and we can get past this.

Halloween!

Who says you have to be a kid to go trick or treating? Some parents do, but not mine. This year I went trick or treating, just because I wanted to. I may be 16, but I still have fun going out and saying "TRICK OR TREAT!" Who wouldn't?? I went with a couple of my friends and it was a lot of fun. We also took my younger sister out, so my parents wouldn't have to take her out. Me and my friends going our was a last minute dealio so we just dressed up like guys. My sister dressed up like a pirate. We were out for a couple of hours and got TONS of candy! I didn't get to go trick or treating last year, because I had confirmation, since Halloween was on a Wednesday. This year though, it was on a Friday. This year was sooo fun and I hope to do it next year, too.

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoh......... CHOIR!

11:34 PM Posted In , , , Edit This 2 Comments »

Just a little bit ago, I had this Choir concert thing. We sang and all had a good time. :) I had a really good time. I love singing and expressing myself in music. Music is such a powerful way of showing the world how you feel and I couldn't imagine not having it. Our concert choir sang this song, called "Requiem," which was originally wrote for the survivors of the Asian Tsunami, and then also dedicated to Katrina victims. It was a very beautiful song, and I'm sure many people teared up to it. The whole concert was great, especially since we sang in won of our local churches which has great acoustics. The whole night was really great.

Moving.. and mooooooore birthday stuff.......

Yesterday, myself and my family helped my Grandparents move. They live in this condominium apartment place. They also just moved down the hall, but their new apartment is just more convenient for them, as it has a closer storage area and garage to the building. After we had finished that, we celebrated our family's fall and winter birthdays, because it's easier to have two birthday parties a year, versus like, 9. I was one of the lucky gals to get some birthday presents since my birthday was about 2 1/2 weeks ago. I got some money, and a T-shirt and an antennae topper for my car. They are both Pirates of the Caribbean themed, because they are from Walt Disney World. We had delicious food, and cake and salad. It was really fun. It was really nice spending some time with my family that I don't see that often.

Movie stuff.....

Last night I was watching this movie, called "Panic Room." Some of the stuff in this movie were rather intriguing and I'd like to share my thoughts on this movie. This is a summary of the plot that I got off of http://www.ruinedendings.com/

Soon-to-be divorced Meg and daughter Sarah move into a luxurious NYC townhouse, complete with a panic room—a steel enclosed security space equipped with sensors, closed circuit TV, phone (not yet hooked up), toilet, supplies, etc. During their first night in the house, three men, Junior, Raoul, and Burnum, break in. Expecting the house to be empty, they’re intent on finding something hidden inside the panic room. Meg wakes up and goes to the bathroom. She spots the three on the security camera. She awakens Sarah and they lock themselves inside the panic room. They’re safe, but cannot stay inside long. Sarah is diabetic and her insulin kit is in her bedroom. If they can’t get to it soon, Sarah will slip into a coma and die. The intruders have no intention of leaving and are working on a plan to get into the panic room.

This movie was pretty good, and I really liked it because Kristen Stewart, who is in the upcoming Twilight movie, and Jared Leto, who the front man of 30 Seconds to Mars is in it. There were some stupid things in it though. Why would the mom, who has never robbed anything before think to smash the cameras in the house so the bad guys wouldn't see and the bad guys DIDN'T think up of it before her!!!!! You would think the more experienced bad robber guys would have thought of that first. AHHH!!!! That was just one part that really kind of bugged me, which is why I wrote about it. Otherwise I really liked the movie.

Just Hanging

I love having a couple of hours on a weekend to myself. Just me and the cats. I could do this all the time. it's just nice to sit on the, maybe read a book, and hear total and complete silence. It's especially nice when my sister isn't home, because she can be horribly annoying.

Shenanigans

Don't you just love having fun, even when you're doing nothing at all? I DO! I really like going out on a Friday night, and going out with my friends, maybe to supper, or just around someones house. Just sitting around can be more fun then running around for 5 hours. I just wish life was always so simple.

Driving...

2:50 PM Posted In , , Edit This 1 Comment »
Driving with my permit can be soooo frustrating at times! I wish I could just eat some chocolate and then suddenly know how to drive completely and totally awesome. That would be pretty cool. I am fine when it comes to driving on the roads and stuff, but parking, and looking at my mirrors? uh uh dude. No way, Jose. Not that great AT ALL. Well I just guess practice makes perfect.

Happy Homecoming... Or is it?

10:36 AM Posted In , , , , Edit This 0 Comments »
So all this past week has been Homecoming at our school. It's been a whole lotta fun, i'd have to say. Every day we've had dress up days, which have been Dress You Best, Nerd Day, College Day, Pirate Day, and Cherry & Blue Day. Cherry and Blue are our school colors. All week has been really fun. Then last night was our "cat fight". Albert Lea Tigers vs. Mankato East Cougars. In the beginning we were doing pretty good! we almost won. We were tied 28-28 at the end and went into overtime. And in overtime we lost 35-34! It was too bad. Well after the dance I had a good time, too. I went to the Homecoming Dance. It was soooo much fun dancing. So all-in-all, it was pretty fun, but it would have been amazing if we had won.

Shopping!

8:04 AM Posted In , , , , Edit This 0 Comments »
So yesterday I went shopping in the cities. I thought we just were going to go to the Burnsville Center, but instead we went to the Mall of America!! That was pretty awesome. While I was there I got a scarf, 2 shirts, and 4 sweatshirts, but one I won't actually get to wear until my birthday. My sister got a couple of sweatshirts, also, and a pair of shoes. Then for supper I went to CiCi's pizza buffet, and it was really good! They had the best pizza and cheese bread ever! They also had some pretty good brownies, too. I had a LOT of fun, but by the end of the day, I was dead tired, and my feet hurt, too.

Lunch

10:22 AM Posted In , , Edit This 0 Comments »
Lunch Lunch Lunch.
What would the world do without lunch? I don't know about the rest of the world, but I would be pretty hungry ALL day. Which is why I think it's ridiculous that i dont get to eat lunch until 12:34!! I'm sorry, but i can't go from eating breakfast at 6:30, to eating lunch at 12:34. So these means that my 2 classes before lunch all I can really think about is food. How am I supposed to get my work done? I'd say that's a pretty good question. I'd have to say at least i don't have lunch at 10:40, like some of my friends. That is WAY too early. It would be nice if the school could just have all the lunches closer together so we could all be happy.
